Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-08-04
This policy describes what information this website collects and how it is handled. It is short because the site does very little.
Data you generate stays on your device
Every address, phone number, postal code and identity profile on this site is produced by JavaScript running in your own browser. Generated data is never transmitted to us and never stored on any server we operate. We cannot see what you generate.
Records you explicitly save are written to your browser's localStorage on your own device, as is your light or dark theme preference. That data never leaves your browser. Clearing your browsing data, or using a different browser or device, removes it permanently. We have no copy and cannot restore it.
The data on this site is synthetic
All names, addresses, phone numbers, postal codes, email addresses and national identification numbers produced by this site are algorithmically generated and describe no real person. Street names, cities and administrative divisions are drawn from real public geography so that output is structurally correct, but the resulting records are fictional. No personal data belonging to any real individual is used to produce them.
Server logs
This site is served through Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare records standard request information — IP address, user agent, referring page, and the time of the request — for the purposes of serving traffic, mitigating abuse and diagnosing faults. We do not combine this information with anything else or use it to identify individual visitors. Cloudflare's handling of that data is governed by its own privacy policy.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are used. It sets cookies in your browser and sends Google your IP address, the pages you view, approximate location derived from that IP, and general device and browser information. Google anonymises IP addresses for EU visitors before storing them.
We use this only in aggregate — to know which country guides are worth expanding and which are not read. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors, and nothing you generate on this site is ever sent to Google or to us.
You can opt out entirely with Google's official browser add-on, or by blocking analytics cookies in your browser or an extension. Doing so does not affect how the site works.
Advertising
This site displays advertising supplied by Google. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
You can opt out of personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings, and you can opt out of participating third-party vendors through the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page. Where required by law, a consent prompt is shown before any advertising cookie is set, and declining it means only non-personalised advertising is served.
Google's use of advertising cookies is described in its own advertising privacy notice, which is linked below.
Contacting us
If you email the address on the contact page, we hold your message and your email address for as long as it takes to deal with it, and use them only to reply to you. If a contact form is offered on that page, what you type into it is passed to a third-party form-handling service which forwards it to us by email, and is used for nothing else.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA and comparable laws, you have rights of access, correction, deletion and objection in respect of personal data held about you. This site holds no user accounts and stores none of the data you generate, so the personal data connected to you is limited to the aggregate analytics and advertising records described above, plus any message you chose to send us. To ask what we hold, or to have it deleted, use the contact address below.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising beyond the advertising cookies described above, which you can decline.
Children
This is a developer tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes to how data is handled will be described rather than quietly edited in.
